Andy
Hi I'm Andy, one half of 'French Admin Assistance' and I have lived in France since 2001. I am a classically trained chef de cuisine and have worked in high tiered restaurants all over the country, as well as running my own business as a private chef. After initially living in the South of France, I ended up in Chamonix in the French Alps, where I eventually met my wife Gemma.
With the arrival of our young children came a desire for a new project, a change of pace and something more accommodating to family life. We moved across the country to the beautiful Dordogne region, and launched a business where we could use our by now extensive knowledge of the French system to help others.

Gemma
Hi there I'm Gemma, the other half of 'French Admin Assistance.' I ventured over to France in 2007 after finishing university in the U.K. and found my new home in Chamonix. I lived in the Alps for 16 happy years, during which time I worked first as a private nanny, and then began my career in freelance writing. I met my now husband Andy in 2015. Since then we have had 2 beautiful children, battled with breast cancer, and moved across the country in search of a fresh start. We are currently living in the wonderful Dordogne region, and have left our old jobs to focus on running FAA as a team.
